I got a flat and conch, friend got tragus (plus conch and others a few months ago) Jordan was very patient amd helpful from picking out jewlrey to getting the placement exactly where I wanted it. I recently got my new piercings done with James and I couldn't be happier! I got my nose pierced several years ago by James and remembered how great he was, so I made my way back for round 2 and he didn't disappoint. Everything in the shop was clean and professional and he explained the piercing process while chatting enough to calm my nerves and make sure I was comfortable. Today was my second time having my ears pierced at East Coast. First time was a helix piercing done by James in 2023 which was super easy and has healed beautifully. Today's piercing was done by Jordan and it was the same super smooth and easy experience as before. All tools and jewelry were sanitized and the process is clearly explained. Jordan is an absolute delight and a real girl's girl, I truly cannot recommend her enough!

This is my third tattoo in Jacksonville and by far my best experience. From the moment I walked in the door to schedule an appointment, I was met with kindness. I didn’t feel as if I were a bother, no one seemed disinterested in my presence. It was a welcoming environment. It was calm, clean and inviting. The music was obnoxiously loud and wasn’t off-putting. I made a slight adjustment to my tattoo and felt nervous about it. Eugene didn’t make me feel like the change was an inconvenience. He’s suggestions and explanations made the tattoo even better. Although it wasn’t a big tattoo, he treated me as if it was the most important and expensive piece of work. Whenever I get the “ink itch” I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this shop to everyone.

I had a great experience here! Jordan was my pierced and she was so kind and informative. When I walked in we went over what I wanted done. I needed a jewelry change for my lip and also a daith piercing. She helped me pick out both pieces of jewelry that I needed and then offered me snacks while I waited for everything to sterilize. When we went back to the room for the piercings, she went over what to expect and how she would do the piercing. I was very nervous but she was so understanding and made the process so smooth! When she pierced the daith in my ear, all I felt was the pressure. And the jewelry was in so quickly after! Afterwards she went over aftercare and asked if I had any questions. I highly recommend Jordan and I’m sure everyone else who works there is just as amazing! I will definitely be back for any future piercings and jewelry changes. This was my first time using East Coast Worldwide and my experience was great. The shop was clean and efficient and my artist, Julian, was helpful and did a great job.

We went there because the last place I took my daughter jacked up her piercing. To the point we removed it 2 days after it was done. Jordan was great. Very courteous. Very knowledgeable. Location was very clean and professional. Completely different feel than what most places that have these types of services. They had an extensive line of jewelry available. All the highest grade materials and design. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a serious place. They aren’t the low price leader and for good reason. I was very impressed and felt important and not just another interruption walking in the door. Well done East Coast Worldwide. Won’t trust anyone else after this experience. My piercing experience was fantastic. I had both a flat and daith done at the same time. I couldn't have asked for a better piercer than Jordan. She was professional and friendly. I've been to see Jordan a few times now. She's pierced my daughter's ears, my nostril, and just today she did my mantis piercing (which I love even more than I anticipated). Jordan keeps an immaculate space and is always professional but also friendly. You can tell building and maintaining a good professional-client relationship is important to her and that she enjoys being a part of your longterm piercing goals. She's an excellent piercer, and I plan to take all my business to her for as long as I'm a Florida resident.

This was my second time coming here and Jordan is always incredible. She has pierced my 2nd holes, nostril, and eyebrow and the ones that have healed have healed incredibly well with no issue. She is the sweetest person and never fails to make me feel comfortable no matter how nervous I am. I came in today to do a consult and piercing with Jordan on getting my navel done again. She was very well spoken and knowledgeable about piercings and what she thought would help my navel piercing heal the best because of my anatomy type and my extra scar tissue from my previous navel piercing. I ended up getting a floating navel and the experience was amazing. She made me very comfortable in the whole process and was talking me through the steps she was doing. She also explained the after care very well too. Would 10000% go here again.

James was fantastic, he made the process of getting pierced easy. I was a walk-in first for a consultation and he made it clear that he was not just looking for a pay day. He was honest about my not having the anatomy for an industrial piercing, I opted for a double helix instead. James gave advice on jewellery choices, and explained the process of sterilizing the jewellery with the autoclave and then explaining the remaining safety measures. The piercing itself took no time and James gave clear instructions on aftercare for ensuring my piercings heal safely.

Jordan was phenomenal. I had 2 new piercings done, 1 old piercing stretched/repierced and 1 new jewelry install. The piercings were done with precision and professionally. She explained everything to me and helped me to pick the best jewelery to start with. She made sure that the piercings were reasonable for me to get placed where I wanted them. I liked that she wasn't going to do anything that wasn't reasonable or might not look good. When she was doing the piercings she explained what she was doing step by step and made sure to check in with me between each piercing. She cared about whether or not I was good and stable before I left her table and the facility. I was provided after care items and instructions that were clear and precise. I would return any time for a piercing by Jordan. I am even considering having my last tattoo done in this facility now.

I have wanted a nose piercing for years. I finally decided that now is the time. We found East Coast worldwide through Google maps and made the connection that someone we know had been there. I was a complete walk-in I was able to be serviced in less than an hour and I got the nose piercing I wanted. The facility was very clean, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. And my piercing artist James was very very knowledgeable, Easy to talk to, and he listened to all of my concerns. He made sure that I understood everything about my piercing before leaving all in all a fantastic experience and I would return to get more work done.

I've been to several different tattoo shops over the years and Eugene at ECWW has by far been the best artist I've worked with. He was patient with last minute changes I requested, ensured that the final result was exactly what I wanted, and was easy to talk to throughout the session. I’m very particular about where I go for tattoos and piercings, so I did a lot of research before choosing a place. I’ve only gotten pierced here, but I was really impressed from the start. It was important to me that they used high-quality jewelry and had a solid understanding of anatomy—especially for facial piercings. I chose Jordan to pierce both of my nostrils because she has a medical background, and all of her work I saw beforehand looked clean and well-placed. They use jewelry from companies like Anatometal and Neometal, which are two of my favorites—definitely a huge plus. When I first walked into the shop, the cleanliness immediately stood out to me—huge green flag. I was greeted right away, and the overall atmosphere was super professional and welcoming. Jordan was kind, confident, and professional. She worked quickly but never seemed rushed—just very sure of what she was doing, which made me feel totally at ease. I met with Julia Lemeshko last Saturday for a consultation about two tattoos I wanted to get. She took the time to understand the style of tattoos I wanted, the locations, and clearly explained the process, expected costs, and addressed any questions I had. I came back yesterday afternoon to get the tattoos. Her work is flawless and was done efficiently, which I was very thankful for, given the discomfort (not pain, but discomfort). She is the best! The studio is immaculately clean and very comfortable. If you are considering tattoos, East Coast Worldwide is the place to go.

Id previously had my septum pierced at Eric's tattoo and piercing shop, unfortunately they messed it up completely and (as I learned from coming here) they were not careful at all with equipment. The environment was clean, organized and professional, even with the amount of art (which was all amazing btw, extremely creative and well made) jewlery cases and such. I was helped by Jordan who was so sweet and careful, she constantly changed her gloves, made sure I was comfortable and explained the process and everything she was doing since I hadn't had my previous piercing done correctly. All in all, wonderful environment and people and I will definitely be coming here again.

The studio is not like your normal tattoo studio. It used to be a pediatricians office, so you get your own private room for each service and it is very clean and relaxing. I visited East coast from California. I had 3 piercings from Jordan. She thoroughly explained each step and process to make me as comfortable as possible! I love the jewelry and work she did!

I have come here for 3 piercings & a few jewelry change outs. The studio is very nice & clean. All the staff are friendly. James has completed all my piercings & is a very professional & knowledgeable piercer! I never feel uncomfortable or unsafe with the process. The jewelry selection is quite nice & a wide range of pieces. The process is quick & easy while also being very safe & clean. I definitely recommend coming here & like always will be coming back.

Went in to discuss a coverup, Eugene was fantastic! He gave me lots of options and details on coverups. Then we discussed removal. I went with the removal option because it worked better for the outcome I am looking for. Had my first treatment today. Everything went very well and it was not at all what I had anticipated. I definitely felt it but no where near what I had imagined, very little discomfort and very quick. (My tattoo is pretty small) Eugene made sure I understood the procedure and that I was comfortable throughout. All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. I am excited to have this one removed and I am sure I will getting new ink from Eugene in the future

Clean, sanitary, respectful, offered opinion but not pushy or condescending, stayed late for appointment, fairly quick (in and out 30-40 mins for septum) while also thorough in explaining entire process from pricing to technique to aftercare, would definitely recommend.

I went here to get my nose piercing changed out since I had gotten mine done at another shop and the jewelry was too big and the guy who changed it out was superrrrr helpful and informative. He gave me tips on how to clean and take care of my piercing better and literally the next day, my irritation bump went down!

First off, this is not your usual strip mall studio. it is located in a professional park next to doctor's offices. Speaking of doctor's offices - this place is as clean as a doctor's office, it is amazing. The staff is great. Professional and patient. You never feel like you are rushed.

I loved how welcoming the studio is. My overall experience was really amazing and I felt heard as well as cared for when it comes to body modifications. Some might say "it's pricey"/"all that just for that?" and I'd just like to say, I'm always cautious when it comes to choosing studios and I always compare what's available however, I'd like to add on, I do favor quality over quantity and I will say you do get what you pay for. The service and communication was better than ever. This is by far the best studio I've been to and would recommend them to anyone!

Lovely and fantastic! I needed advice for stretching my existing piercings for an upcoming wedding where I will be wearing temple jewelry. The lovely associate knew exactly what I was talking about, had great advice (cover the sink drain! I did almost loose one post!), and was happy to help. This place is extraordinarily clean and hygienic, as well as just pleasant to be in. My 12g posts went in just fine with all the advice, and now my ears will survive a 3 day long wedding. Cheers!

I highly recommend this studio for anyone with piercing and body jewelry needs! I had a short notice medical scan and needed some jewelry removed ASAP. ECW was kind enough to accommodate my last minute request (next day) and I worked with James for my appointment. Upon arrival, I was extremely impressed by the whole aesthetic of their shop/facility! It was extremely clean, everything well organized and the wall decor was a nice change from typical tattoo shops. It was still a lot of locally created/sourced art, but was very tasteful and well placed. I was greeted by James and he patiently listened while I explained my situation and what I was needing. He was very knowledgeable and asked some great follow up questions to ensure I was provided the best customer experience. James's demeanor remained pleasant and professional throughout the entire encounter (even when it required taking extra time to get additional tools for the removal). His hygiene regimine was on point (always ensured he had proper PPE was worn, washing hands between touching instruments, etc.) At the end of the appointment, he helped answer my questions about their available jewelry and was not pushy or pressuring in any way! I am going back today for upgrades to my jewelry and was pleased to know I could choose James specifically for the revision. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the care and level of customer service I received from East Coast Worldwise Tattoo & Piercing Studio and will definitely be a repeat customer!

They were very clean I would like to say that first! It was my first time being pierced by a professional and it was very nice and easy. My piercer was very nice and made sure to tell me what was needed. It was a little chilly I will say. They provided a cleaning aftercare for your piercings and also made sure to clean the jewelry before putting it in. They go over prices before you get pierced so it’s easy to see how much it would be. Overall I loved it and it was such a great experience especially for my first piercing!

This place is amazing!! I came across this place researching and trying to find a good piercing and tattoo shop where they have a star rating of 4 and above and found east coast. I live on the west side of Jacksonville and it is about a 25 minute drive but trust me, it is worth it. When you first walk in, you will be surprised with how clean the studio is. It was a very colorful and unique setup. While waiting, you are also provided with snacks and drinks. I can only speak on piercings and Jordan has been my piercer for the past 3 piercings I’ve gotten here. She is very friendly and walks you through everything from start to finish. If you having dying questions she will answer them, if you dm her she will answer in minutes. She will always tell you what to do in any type of situation concerning your piercing. She is the best and I will continue to come back for my future piercings. Although it is a bit pricey here, it is for a good reason for piercings are sensitive to certain metals. The most you pay for will be for the jewelry, the service itself is not expensive but, there is no one else I could trust than Jordan for my piercings. The team is very reliable and friendly and are always welcoming. Thanks so so much east coast❤️

I absolutely love their website and values they have as a parlor. Then I researched tattoo artists in Jacksonville through the social medias connected on the various parlors websites. Julian, hands down, had THE BEST line work I saw in my research! I was also incredibly impressed by their extremely high level of customer service! Julian spent time talking with me and I felt so honored and listen to throughout our conversations. That tattoos are beautiful! Since then, both of my best friends have gone and gotten tattoos from him and they are amazing! Now, we just need to work on my mom :) Thank you, Julian, for everything!!!

I went in super nervous to get my back dermal done as I did not know what to expect, however, I left extremely pleased. I will say it’s a little on the pricier side than some other places, but, James broke the cost down for me beforehand so there were no surprises and I think for the quality and experience, it is well worth it. James explained everything to me step by step and made sure I was doing ok throughout the whole process and he was done before I knew it. I’ll definitely be returning 😊

I will say, they asked if I wanted to leave a review and I said yes! With that said Jordan did my Ashley piercing, my nose, my friends diath and her third earlobe holes. Jordan was patient, knowledgeable, gentle and very personable. She was a joy to have and made the environment super comfy. Thankfully I’ve never had a bad experience and Jordan kept my good streak. I did a lot of research on different shops, piercings and piercers and I would say I was right on the money. I cannot speak on tattoos, although I’m sure their artists are phenomenal as well, but if you want a safe, clean and friendly environment pick Jordan!

Jordan pierced two additional lobe piercings on both ears and my left helix. Jordan excelled on all aspects, from foundational hygiene and safety to assistance with curating jewelry to create exactly the look I wanted. 10/10 would recommend Jordan, and this studio as a whole.

After a jewelry changeout from another studio left one of my ear piercings very agitated, James helped me changeout my earrings to soothe the irritation and recommended an aftercare plan. I went in for a fine line tattoo in memory of my sister in law. Eugene was wonderful from my consult to my approval and tattoo appointment. He is professional and soft spoken. This shop is the nicest, cleanest tattoo shop I've ever been in. My cousin and I got tattoos with Eugene and he was great through the whole process. Patient with us deciding to book (we were in town for a limited time) and enthusiastic about our ideas. Open to [reasonable] modifications to the design on the day of. Very attentive to sanitizing between our sessions and our comfort levels throughout. Very clear instructions regarding aftercare. Eugene also does good work on colored skin. My cousin got color in her tattoo and it looks great so far. If I have the opportunity, I'd definitely get tattooed by him again or at this shop in general!

Switched to ECW after hearing about this place from one of my friends. Singlehandedly the best decision i’ve ever made! The shop is clean, and everyone here is very friendly. Did some patchwork pieces with Eugene and I love them all so much. He has a very light hand, and always checks up on me and asks if I need a break. The healing process did not take long at all. I didn’t bleed heavy at all and within days it fully healed. Also, bonus points for playing A Day To Remember. Love this place!!

I've gotten my last 6 tattoos from them when they were out at the beaches and will be doing a group piercing session in a few weeks. I had an appointment at the new location so that I could price jewelry for everyone and know the costs. No, this is not your normal $100 tattoo and $25 piercing place, but I'm glad it's not. I'd prefer to know that everything is done top of the line, 100% to regulations, then go somewhere for a quickie and end up with a bad result. Even though my tattoo artist is no longer there, I wouldn't go anywhere else for tattoos or piercings.

Jordan was my piercer for my nostril and we went over colors, shapes, sizing of jewelry prior to the piercing itself. There is never a pressure to buy or do anything either, they are always letting you guide them when it comes to what you want. Then Jordan broke down the pricing for the piercing, jewelry and aftercare products and the total for everything. They also sent me a promo code for my birthday as well! :) Even though I have the same type of piercing currently on my left nostril she made sure she went over the whole process of the piercing itself before we started. She then made sure both my piercings on each nostril would be even with the new one. Jordan first took out my left nostril jewelry and then proceeded smoothly into my right nostril piercing. Jordan always asked me if I had questions before and after the procedure. She explained the aftercare process to me as well again and I couldn’t be happier with my new piercing and jewelry! From start to finish the service and experience is always exceptional and that’s why I wouldn’t trust anywhere else in Jacksonville but here for these types of services.

I’ve been going to a ‘regular’ style tattoo parlor for well over a decade. I found this place on Google looking for piercing jewelry and was more than pleasantly surprised. It is the cleanest facility I could imagine, kind of like a doctors office in the best way. James was super professional and kind, as well as helpful in troubleshooting issues my current piercings have from another studio. There are people leaving bad reviews on google complaining of pricing, but genuinely it seems on par for high end body jewerly. If you go on common wholesaler sites (Buddha jewelry, neometal, BVLA) - you’ll know the prices here are standard. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this studio.

This was my second piercing done at East Coast Worldwide. My first was my septum and this time I got my forward helix done. I live an hour and forty-five minutes away from the studio yet I still choose them for my piercings. Beautiful and extremely clean studio, welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The drive is worth every minute. I'll definitely be going back in the future and if you're looking to have any piercings done, this is the place. I've not had a tattoo done here, but based upon the work I've seen from this studio, the tattoo artists are also very talented.

Found this place while looking around the Jax area and glad I did. Having met Joe Dalton, he helped create a tattoo that represented my Hispanic heritage with my love for anime/manga (upper right arm). The process from consultation to the coloring and after care was easy and seamless in my opinion. I plan on getting a companion tattoo on my other arm along with some smaller ones and will definitely hit up Mr. Joe again.

Got my first tattoo done by Eugene and he crushed it. Expect to pay for the quality and their experience. It’s all private and a really clean chill environment. I am not crazy about the ointment I bought from the shop but that’s partially on me for not doing my own research. It like a chapstick consistency and it’s honestly a little painful to put on. I would just get your own aftercare.

When I first entered, I couldn't help but notice how clean the place was. I was greeted by Brad. I was early, so he asked me help myself to the various snacks and drinks that they have to offer while I waited. My appointment was with James. James is a gentle soul who has extensive experience in piercing. We had a consultation first. I had had my navel pierced years ago, and I wanted it re-pierced. James suspected that my piercing might still be open, due to how long I had had it in previously. He was correct. What was going to cost me almost $200 ended up costing me about $58, tip included. I highly recommend James. His knowledge and expertise are exceptional.

I wish I could see more of the Tattoo Artist Art work in their rooms, I enjoy looking at them while I'm getting my tattoos done.

I went in to get my third earlobes done, I had a wonderful experience. The place itself was so clean and everything was so professional and the piercer changed sterile gloves many times to ensure cleanliness they also sterilize the jewelry that goes in the piercing. It is absolutely more expensive than your average shop but if you're looking for a good quality custom piece, they're absolutely worth it. I am a few days late sharing my experience with Eugene. Thursday 3/23/22 I arrived at the shop which was extremely clean and perfectly organized. Eugene greeted me as soon as I entered checked me in for my apprentice tattoo I was receiving from him. Eugene is very kind and pleasant. I am satisfied with my Tattoo. Thank you Eugene for my Tattoo and your kindness. Because of you I will be returning for more Tattoos. I felt very comfortable and even fell asleep while he was doing my tattoo. I have several other tattoos. He’s also not heavy handed. But I also have a high pain tolerance and the part of my arm I received it on isn’t a painful area ( did this with no numbing cream)

Amazing experience!! James Coleman both gave me an honest consultation and then gave me my 2nd industrial piecing. He was super informative, definitely knows his stuff and was great about answering any and all questions or concerns I had. This was my 2nd industrial because my last one in the same ear--which has been healed for years--was poorly done, and just by looking at where my scars were he was able to explain to me why exactly what parts of what they did were wrong, which I appreciated hearing! The actual piercing was so smooth. Amazingly clean, but still comfortable workroom, piercing was fast, James was very comfortable to talk to and greatly explained all the necessary after care, and specifically why he suggests doing each thing. James saved me! Long story short, I had an emergency with my new flat piercing I had done at a different shop where the post was not long enough to accommodate the swelling of my ear so the swelling was basically enclosing the back of the piercing. James was able to quickly handle it and get me the correct length post, which helped alleviate the throbbing I was in so much. I have nothing but great things to say about him, and I'm grateful he was so willing to help me out in a pinch. Highly recommend James, if I ever want to get another piercing in the future, I already know I will be returning to him.

After getting a consult at another location and it not going well I was hesitant about going in to ECW. I found ECW and looked at each artist’s work and I thought Julian would be a good fit for what I wanted. The consult went smooth, I booked another appt. for the drawing it came out beautifully, I booked my tattoo appointment and got it done yesterday and I could not be more happy!!! So many people have already asked me where I went. I am already dreaming up ideas to get the rest of my lower arm completed!!

Okay... so I've researching having my conch pierced for a while so I went online and found this spot. Let's see where do I begin ...first of all, it is PRISTINE; super clean, decorated tastefully and did I say pristine?? Very impressed by this because as I get older, I am learning that OCD is real. They offer light refreshments for their clients also, nice little bonus. Now to my piercer, James Coleman. This gentleman is from Connecticut, but he fits in perfectly here in Florida with his warm, friendly, disposition and absolute professionalism. And he has good eye contact...very important to me as well. I highly recommend this shop. I love my piercing and James's approach eased fears of how painful it would be. On a scale of one to ten, I'll give it a 3. Pricing was a bit higher than I anticipated, but I am not turned off by that. It was absolutely worth it. I'll be back for possibly tattoo removal and guess what kids? James does that too. So dope **Update** So my piercing is healing beautifully! I stuck to the cleaning program James advised and it has responded well to it. Very pleased with this whole experience and I highly recommend this shop.

I recently got a tattoo here in memory of my father who recently passed away. Omar Cruz did an amazing job it came out better then I imagined it would. Omar is very skilled and professional. James was awesome. I initially made an appointment for a consultation but ended up feeling comfortable enough to jump in and ask to have my septum done. The whole process was very professional while also throwing in jokes to make me laugh and put me at ease. I even learned I apparently have a slight deviated septum, which has never been mentioned to me before. He took his time to get everything lined up to work best with my anatomy. I also asked James about a daith piercing I had done elsewhere thinking it was not placed properly and he confirmed. I really appreciated him explaining how it should be done and even showing me examples. The studio is also exceptionally clean and all the art was fun to look at while in the waiting room. If you're thinking of getting a piercing, don't hesitate to go see James.

James was absolutely amazing! I went to another piercing shop before coming here and they completely botched my septum piercing and pierced through my cartilage, it was a total nightmare of them switching out the jewelry multiple times and it still looked wrong. After having James inspect the first piercing he assured me that it was done incorrectly and that he can re-pierce it after the previous hole healed. James is super knowledgeable at what he does and made me feel comfortable through out my whole appointment. I didn’t feel like he was rushing to finish the piercing like the first shop I went to. This was the most amazing experience. James was extremely patient and kind. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him if you are interested in having your child's ears pierced. My six year-old barely flinched, and didn't shed a tear, excited and smiling 99% of the time we spent here (she was understandably a bit nervous and said 'that hurts' only as the jewelry was being secured, literally one second). NO pain except for this very brief moment, not even after the excitement wore off. Within an hour she had even forgotten she had this done! The level of professionalism, personal care and attention to detail cannot be beat. There is a great selection of jewelry and every person who came out from the service area with a tattoo was ALL SMILES 🥰. Seriously, if I were to get a tattoo (now I am considering it!) it would be worth the 14 hour drive to have this kind of confidence in my artist. BRAVO!

I was extremely nervous (I had only ever had my earlobes pierced before and was too young to remember what it was like) but she made me feel very comfortable. The process was fairly easy. Nana was very informative and knowledgeable in her profession. We went over jewelry options and she recommended what would be best for me in terms of healing. I have suffered allergies to certain jewelry in the past, so I truly appreciate that proper healing was her priority when helping me choose my hoop. The piercing wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I would be lying if I said that it didn't hurt (there was definitely a sting), but the discomfort is tolerable and only lasts as long as it takes the needle to go through, which is fairly quickly; and honestly, the piercing is so pretty that I would've gladly sat through more pain. I appreciate that she asked me how deep into my ear I wanted the piercing placed, instead of just placing it wherever. I've seen a lot of daith piercings online that weren't placed deep enough and just didn't give that "growing out of the ear" look that I absolutely love about the daith, so I was a bit worried that any piercer I went to would do what was easiest and place it further out than I would've liked, but Nana took all of my concerns and expectations into consideration and made sure to give me the look I was going for (which coincidentally is also her preferred placement). After all was done she thoroughly went through aftercare instructions and made sure that I didn't have any doubts. She definitely went above and beyond. If you're considering ECW for your piercing look no further and make an appointment with Nana. My visit with her was the first time in a long time that I go to an appointment of any kind and leave without feeling pressured, rushed, or like I wasn't heard. She's great! I'm already planning on booking earlobe piercings and possibly a nose piercing with her soon, and I can't wait for my daith to fully heal so that I can go back and customize a new piece. Extraordinarily clean and all of the piercers/tattoo artists wear scrubs. The rooms are set up just like a doctor's office. I had Nana as my piercer, and I love her so much! She did a very thorough consultation before my appointment! She completely understood what I was wanting and let me know all of my options, price point, and aftercare. She walked me through every step of the process and was extremely clean and sanitary with everything she did. The piercing itself didn't hurt at all!!! :0 I have tattoos and those way worse! I went in to specifically see Nana for my septum piercing. I have had my septum pierced for about ten years but it has always been slightly off. I plan on keeping this piercing for the rest of my life if I'm able so I want it to be perfect. Nana was such a good listener and was so patient. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the result and I definitely am. There is a reason this place has so many good reviews. Nana is one of the good ones.

I was able to book with Nana, their resident profesional piercer, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Nana Peña was extremely professional, warm, and made the experience actually very pleasurable. Even when she was putting a needle through my nose she was gentle and kept me calm.. it was barely a pinch with minimal bleeding. I was extremely impressed. I will likely be going back for future piercings. The price point is a little on the higher side, but it is worth it as they work with you on the jewelry, aftercare, etc. The place itself is very clean but still welcoming. I set up a consultation first just to get a feel for the location and comfort level. Nana was amazing. She didn't rush the consultation, answered all questions I had, no pressure to schedule, very informative. Piercing day a few weeks later was fantastic. With my moving around the country a bit, I have the pleasure of using different artists for my tattoos. One thing I do upon entering a tattoo shop is run my hand along the tops of the wall hangings to check their cleanliness. I also check the bathroom. I figure if they are clean, the rest of the shop is even better. The wall hangings and bathroom were spotless. My initial meeting with Julian was super. I felt comfortable with him immediately. He was super open to what I wanted and making it happen. The actual tattoo experience was all I expected and more. While the work I had done was not extensive and only took about an hour, Julian was outstanding. I will have more work done, it will be at East Coast Worldwide, and it will be with Julian. I cannot believe there is a better shop in Jacksonville.

Omar was awesome. We spent three months designing the tattoo. I send him my ideas, we would consult together at the shop and eventually we landed on the owl and sunburst. This was my first tattoo and Omar spent all the time I needed to know the process, the services, the actual ink day and everything. On the day of the tattoo I really enjoyed my time with Omar. It was a five hour job and we talked before he started about getting psyched up for it with it being my first tattoo and he really wanting to do a great job. During the inking I was relaxed and Omar did his thing. When it was all done, I loved it. Omar was happy, too. It was a great experience and we're already talking about the next tattoo. My wife is really happy with my first tattoo. She has a few herself but after hearing my story with Omar she'll be contacting him no time soon for her next one. Also the East Coast shop was very clean and very professional. During the ink process they played great house music and really made a nice mood for the event. Got a inverse vertical labret piercing with Nana and I loved it. She was so kind and informative answering my questions with expertise and I’m very happy with my piercing. I had been looking for an artist to do my tattoo idea for my stroke anniversary and received several declines until I found Omar. I had a sketch that I drew and I knew I wanted it in black and grey. He specialized in this so I met up with him. He took my idea and put his twist on it and it came out amazing!! I came here after getting a bad piercing elsewhere that left a scar on my nose and comparing the two experiences was like night and day. The studio itself was extremely clean and comfortable. I have visited ECW for several occasions in the past few months and have been beyond thankful for the care and precision of the artists. Julian has done two beautiful tattoos for me and was willing to accommodate changes I wanted to make to my first tattoo on my thigh in order to ensure it was just what I wanted. My second tattoo on my arm was more simple but the detail work turned out much better than I could have hoped. I also recently had my philtrum pierced by James, and he was very patient with my friend and I as we decided the exact jewelry and palcement of our piercings. Both artists explained everything in detail and were easy and fun to talk to. Everything has healed as expected I can't wait to come back.

I took my 7 year daughter to East Coast for her ears pierced after reading articles of the piercing guns vs needles. James was her piercer and he was very patient and professional with her. We didn't feel rushed at all, even on a Saturday afternoon.The jewelry was pretty pricey and I was in bit of sticker shock, but I feel better knowing that it is high grade metals and won't irritate her ears vs the cheap stuff from the malls. I would highly recommend and will use them again for any future needs!

Love love love my tattoo! The facility was very clean and everyone was so nice and professional. James did my piercing and was so patient with me (zero pain tolerance and I’m a chicken) and spent a lot of time going over the after care instructions. Because he performed the piercing so quickly and precisely, I’ve had no issues. Most my friends said their nose hurt for days if not weeks after their piercing and I’m 3 days in but am not even really sensitive to the touch. Their jewelry is a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for! Highly recommend.

I travelled 4 hours to see Julian for my first tattoo. I previously came to this studio earlier this year with my dad for his tattoo consultation and I found the entire setting to be extremely professional and cleanly. I was very nervous for my tattoo as it was my first one but Julian assured me that it wouldn't be nearly as painful as I was imagining it to be. He was professional, informative, and attentive throughout our whole session. I highly recommend him and he was definitely worth the distance! I'm in love with my tattoo so much!

We had a great experience with Julian at East Coast Worldwide. We appreciate their commitment to being a clean, professional, high end, parlor. I really like that everything they do is 100% custom and that you have to have a consultation with the artists before you get your tattoo. Julian was awesome and worked with us to get us what we wanted but was really honest about what would work and wouldn't work. It was a pretty seamless process, they have a great system set up!

He has some serious skills when it comes to what he does! Overall it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend Evan to anyone looking to get a quality tattoo done!

I've wanted my lip pierced for years and was finally at a point in life where I could have it. I searched for days for where I wanted to go, and ultimately decided on here and I'm so glad I did. James is super knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. He helped me pick out jewelry based on what I wanted and what would look best for me after going over all the different types they have. Once that was picked out everything was put in the autoclave. Their attention to cleanliness was good to see considering I was getting something put through my face. I was extremely nervous going in since I hate needles and have no other piercings besides my ears but James walked me through every step, explained what everything he had in his piercing "kit" was, and when it came time for the actual piercing, walked through it in a way that made it quick and as least painful as possible. Not only was he great during the piercing but afterwards as well when I called for something I was concerned about, he genuinely wants to help you have the best piercings and it isn't just about the money.

5 stars, no doubt. I went in yesterday morning for a nose piercing knowing they may or may not take walk-ins. James was not available at that time so I scheduled same day later in the afternoon. Overall first impression was that the studio was clean and sterile (sooo important) and the staff was friendly and welcoming. James pierced my nose, he was friendly, funny and overall made me feel comfortable. He was professional and knowledgeable. Julian is great! I was in Jacksonville for a few days from Montana and thought I would try to get a tattoo while I was here. I was informed they were booked two weeks out. 5 minutes later Julian called me saying since my tattoo was simple he could get me in the next morning before his appointments started! The shop was extremely clean, professional, they wore scrubs, which I loved. This was my first tattoo and Julian explained the whole process and was very reassuring. First and foremost East Coast Worldwide is a very clean and professional tattoo shop. Evan was my artist and he is extremely talented and accommodating. After our initial consultation I decided I wanted to adjust a few things and it was very easy to communicate with him. He responded back to me quickly and our discussions went very well. He made the whole process seem very painless and his input was very good. In fact he did such a nice job with his work that we are turning it into a sleeve. Wonderful experience getting my tattoo at East Coast Worldwide. Evan was my artist. I wanted a flower bracelet tattoo with my kids birth flowers on it. Evan came up with a great design for me. He was so professional from start to finish, and he is a super nice person. He made sure to incorporate all of the things I wanted into the tattoo and it came out perfect. I can't say enough nice things about East Coast and Evan. I've received so many complements on my tattoo and I've been telling everyone to visit the shop and give them a try. This past weekend I got a tattoo from Julian and I can honestly say, from start to finish, the best tattooing experience I have ever had. i've gotten a lot of tattoos before but this was by far the best experience. evan english is the artist i'm currently getting a quarter sleeve by and his professionalism and skill has made this a great experience. it is a little pricier than most shops, but so worth it because they set the bar higher than most shops

I first came here with a friend after finding out there were finally APP members in Jacksonville, back when Whitney was still on staff. My friend has a great experience, and I ordered some jewelry since I was there- also totally awesome. I decided to get a septum piercing, so I scheduled a same-day appointment with James Coleman and was able to call and make sure the slot was good to go. The shop is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained (they have the fanciest shower I have ever seen. Seriously. I had no reason to use it but I admired the heck out of it.). James was courteous and professional, and once my jewelry was autoclaved, I was pretty much in and out. I’m good on piercing aftercare, but I’m confident that if I needed more guidance, he would have patiently answered all of my questions. I don’t know if I want any more piercings, but he’s at the top of my list if I change my mind, and I confidently recommend ECW to anyone looking for tattoos or piercings- you WILL pay more than you would at Claire’s, Wal-mart, your cousin’s best friend’s brother’s roommate who has a tattoo gun made from a guitar string, but you should be. Don’t go cheap when it comes to someone literally poking holes in your skin.

I chose this studio for my 15 year old daughter's ear piercing because I had experienced their professionalism and cleanliness myself when I received a tattoo. James went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Being able to make an appointment is ideal. The shop presents the cleanliness (sterility) of a doctor's office while still feeling relaxed and comfortable. We were given ample care instructions and all of our questions were answered. We were walk-ins and they mostly do tattoos by appointments. However, they were gracious and worked with us. I have to say a very clean and professional tattoo place. You walk in the door and feel like you can sit on the seats and not worry about the level of cleanliness. This is not one of those walk in get a tattoo same day kind of places, they definitely care about the work they do and if you want a tattoo an appointment will be your first step. Julian was amazing! I got my second tattoo from him and it was by far the better of my tattoo experiences. He drew a beautiful original work for me, even though it was small he gave me the attention before hand of if it was a massive piece. When I was actually being tattooed he was professional and kind, and let me reposition it on my arm at LEAST 5 times, and he never minded and was very patient and wanted to get everything just right for me. Also, my tattoo looks amazing and is whimsical and beautiful and tiny lines and he did such a good job. I will for sure go back to him for more! My husband had the same experience and will be going back for a sleeve next time. We couldn't recommend Julian more to you.

Really liked working with Evan, he was so creative and patient with me and my friends....loved how clean the facility was....if you have never had a tattoo, and are over 55, this may be the place for you!

My best friend, from Chicago, talked me into getting matching tattoos and after we thought we settled on a design (Moon Jellyfish), I walked in with no appointment, and spoke to Evan. I picked ECWT&P because of how nice the shop looked online. Not only is it that amazing in person, Even was very informative and willing to do whatever we wanted (white ink). He created the exact outline of what we wanted for my friend to say it didn't turn out like she hoped and scratched the original idea completely. We were back to ground zero and only had two more days to decide what we both wanted, as well as, have Evan re design our idea and book us an appointment. He did not pressure us, said he would be willing to make his schedule work, and allowed us to return a couple hours later with our new idea. We returned with an image that he had to alter and tweak to fit what we wanted, and he did not disappoint. His water color effects with pastels was on point. We're both madly in love with our mermaids. It is my very first tattoo and her 3rd. She said Even was very gentle and experienced considerably less pain than with her previous artists. Not to mention their litocaine soap definitely works. It's worth the extra $15, in my opinion.

I thought I was beyond satisfied with the first half. This man bent over backward for me. He figured out what was most important to me and make it a reality. I would recommend him to any one and every one I know. I am so pleased with his service that I don’t wait for people to ask me where I go. People who don’t even have tattoos or even want any I still tell them to go get one! ADVICE - you are gonna get what you pay for. So stop being cheap it’s gonna be on you FOREVER. - YES - the process is slow but also realize; when you cook chicken, if your going for the best taste and quality. Are you going to slow roast it or put it in a crockpot? Just think about that! - Evan English has a passion for what he does and you can really tell by his customer service and his interaction. If you want a good laugh this man has the juice. - I have never met the business owner but I know the guy knows how to run the best business in the game. The place is clean as can be. East Coast Worldwide has a great set of policies where they ask you to come in for a drawing/idea session before committing to a tattoo. They want to make sure that they're providing you with what you're looking for, and are very receptive to feedback in the idea generation process. I reached out to Julian Kelley and within a week and a half of communication we came up with a sketch that I was in love with. Julian was available after normal work hours and on the weekends to respond to concerns or questions, which was extremely helpful in this process. I got my first tattoo from Julian, and will continue to get my tattoos from East Coast Worldwide in the future. They are a bit more on the expensive side, but you're making a purchase that's going to be on your body forever, so invest the extra dough into it. I'm extremely happy with the color, style, linework, and dotwork of my tattoo and I feel confident on taking care of the tattoo for the healing process and beyond because of their counseling post-session. I'd highly consider checking out East Coast Worldwide, especially if this is your first tattoo experience, the bedside manner was great, and I enjoyed the experience from start to finish!

ECW is so different from every other tattoo shop I have ever seen. It is a calming, professional and immaculately clean environment. The staff is full of professionals who care about what their customers want. Evan drew my tattoo for me perfectly on the first time after just one short conversation about my "vision." He was able to give me the exact tattoo that I wanted to honor my friend who recently passed. I will never go anywhere else!!! I have already recommended this shop to several friends.

Recommended by a friend who gets pierced there. I was going in for a tattoo. SUPER clean studio (MAJOR brownie points), not your "typical" place w/drawings on the wall. Goes to assure you they're going to take the time to learn what you want and do their best to give you just that. I told Patrick what I wanted and let him proceed from there, as he is the artist, not me. So to the posts about how expensive they are, with all due respect, you get what you pay for and this' not the industry where you want cheap! They're doing foreign things to your body. :-)
